RYAN BRADLEY

PERSONAL – Ryan lives in Poulsbo, WA with his wonderful wife Ashley and sons, Parker (13) and Landon (10). Ryan has done for himself as a financial advisor. He barely golfs but has a natural swing I’d give a pinky for.

TIE TO THE MONTEMAR - When I was 20 years old I was coaching babe ruth baseball at North Kitsap and Ryan’s little brother, Nasty Nate Brown, made my all-star team. Ryan and I hit it off talking about baseball… we both think alike when it comes to that, and the following year I asked Ryan to help me coach my team. He did and and later that year our all-star team ended up finishing 3rd at the Babe Ruth World Series. I was planning on going to Australia that year and Ryan decided he wanted to come with. We spent four months down under and when we came back we continued to coach baseball together. We’ve been great friends ever since. One of my favorite things about the Montemar is it has allowed me to see Ryan 3 out of the last four years.

ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONTEMAR – I’ll get on the horn with Ryan but I’m sure he can come up with something great to donate to the prize pool. I think sports betting futures tickets in Reno is a really fun and affordable prize. and out

WHAT NEEDED TO HAPPEN IN 2024 - Ryan was a late entry as an alternate so there were no expectations heading into last year.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN 2024 - Ryan wasn’t sure if he was going to make Idaho but ended up being a last second addition as an alternate. He got to play some holes at Circling Raven and said it was the best time he’s ever had on a golf course. Since he wasn’t an official player, there were no points but he had a blast and that’s what matters.

WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN 2025 – If Ryan played a bunch of golf he’d be a single digit handicapper. He rarely plays though so he is far from that. That said, the Montemar is set up so anybody can win it. Ryan needs to spend some time looking over the rules and understanding the point system. He knows my brain well enough to have an advantage in figuring out some of the crazy shit I come up with it, and making some sort of sense of it. Strategy in planning his scramble team and who he drafts will be a big deal, as will the strategy of how he plays the golf course. With his handicap a couple individuals rounds of 100 or so and a strategically picked scramble team could be enough to crack the top 10.

  ODDS TO WIN 54-1

FUN FACT – Ryan is the older brother of Ian Youngblood.
