He did and and later that year our all-star team ended up finishing 3rd at the Babe Ruth World Series. I was planning on going to Australia that year and Ryan decided he wanted to come with. It would make sense that his tie to the Montemar would come from his northwest ties, but we all met AJ in Sunnyvale, CA. He had moved there after graduating from ASU to work at Lockheed Martin and one of his ASU frat brothers, Raj, happened to be friends with Simon, Mike, and the crew. Before long AJ was part of the crew also. He’s a very outgoing and friendly guy and before long it seemed he was always out. As I got to know him better, I realized he was always out. He had that rare ability to party 7 nights per week and still show up to work and kill it at his day job. I don’t think I’ve seen him since we all got kicked out of the rack on my wedding night and I’m super pumped he’s making the trip to Idaho. I’m totally guessing here, but judging by where they live and time of entrance, I’m going to guess Jason is one of Brett Berman’s buddies and possibly/probably in the Gamble Sands crew the week before.
